Human Certified Publisher is a Chrome extension that enables registered Human Certified authors to associate published content with a Human Certified accountability record.
The extension stores the following information using Chrome’s storage:
– HC Author ID
– Access Key
– Human Certified Registry URL
When the user clicks the Human Certified button, the extension sends the following information to the Human Certified Registry:
– HC Author ID
– Access Key
– Content title (where applicable)
– Registry URL information required to reserve a Human Certified content code
Information is transmitted only in response to an explicit user action.
Human Certified Publisher does not:
– collect browsing history
– monitor user activity
– read private messages
– collect passwords
– sell personal information
– share personal information with third parties for advertising.
Clipboard access occurs only following an explicit user action. When the user clicks the Human Certified button, the extension copies the generated Human Certified citation to the clipboard so it can be pasted into the user’s post.
